Yesterday in class we all chose a song that we thought would release the most dopamine to our brain to see if we could count to ten faster then when we didnt listen to the music. I had 1.42 seconds as my starting time to count to ten and it did seem that if i listened to a song with a good beat or was funny or something it would get my brain going. Cullens song made me count the fastest because i did it in 1.27 seconds with his song. Auroras i did the second fastsest with 1.35 secondsand hers didnt even have a large beat i juts think that hers was funny so my brain released dopamine because i was laughing and i liked how funny it was. I really saw an affect with the songs beat when i chose a slow song and it largely affected my time by making it more than .20 seconds slower at 1.68 seconds.
